I bought a DMR-E50 from Target's Clearence Rack, It didn't come with a remote control, so I bought a Learning remote from Radio Shack. This remote worked Great till I switched the dvd recorder to "2 CHK Remote" The Manual for the DVD recorder said to hit 2+ Enter. I tried that with the learning remote but nothing happened. I hit the channel up and down buttons on the dvd recorder and reset the system. I tried unplugging for a couple of hours to see if that would change it back to the way I bought it. Is there a way without buying the correct remote to set my Radio shack Learning remote to 2?
