liteon VSO8 & VSOA????

anyone know the difference between these two firmware upgrades for the 832s. the liteon americas website has the VSO8 but they dont have the VSOA. someone sent me a link for the VSOA but that was on some website not affiliated to liteon. Which firmware should i get, will there be any difference to which one i get?

btw. does anyone know where i could get a program that can scan the results of my burns(they are in some kind of graph) and where i can get a program that shows the discs are manufactured.
