Okay I have a Pioneer A04, don't laugh! I've been using it to write Xbox dvd-r's.
If I put it in my Mac G4, extract an iso and burn it using Toast as UDF format it plays fine.
BUT!!!! If I put the DVD writer in a Windows machine, burn the same ISO, extracted or not, the disc cannot be read by the xbox. Even using the same blank DVDs makes no difference.

What on earth is going on ?????? Is it a Burner problem or Windows problem? I've updated the PC's processor, motherboard, power supply, and HD. Still no use.

If I boot the xbox DVD-R with Evox, I can see the files but it refuses to boot the game. BUT, burn it on the Mac and it boots the game fine....

If anyone has a clue I would really appreciate it.
