I'm having trouble burning mp3-files onto audio cds. Quite often (about one out of four cds) one or more of the tracks contain no sound. It seems something actually is recorded to the track since the cd-player keeps the track running throughout its entire duration, but without any sound. What's really puzzling is that it's never the same track, if any, that fails to be recorded when I try to burn the cd again; it can be any random track. So, it doesn't seem to be the mp3-files that are corrupt. I've tried different cd-players, different brands of cd-rs, different softwares (Nero, CDRWIN, HP RecordNow), and I've tried lowering the burning speed, but nothing seems to help. I'm using a HP CD-Writer Plus burner.

I'm really tired of getting cds with one or two songs missing. Any idea of what the cause of my problem might be?
