Hey i recently bought a slide card from www.slide-card.com , i followed all the instructions and when i insert the disc to boot cd based games a message comes up and says "please insert a playstation or playstation format disc" could somebody please help me with my problem?!

did you press the reset button after you inserted your swap magic cd?

you need to either have the swap magic discs in the ps2 when powering on or press reset after inserting the disc to get them to boot,try pressing the reset button after you insert the swap magic disc and see if if boots

i have gotten the cd to work but i follow all the instructions and when i have done everything i have to a grey screen comes up what am i doing wrong?

Follow these steps:

1) Turn on your PS2
2) Insert Swap Magic CD and boot it
3) Wait for "Please insert disc" screen
4) Use slide card to open tray
5) Replace with game you want to play
5) Use slide card to close tray
6) Press X

If that doesn't work then there is something wrong with the disc you're trying to play (either burning problem or incompatible with swap magic).
