Where do I begin.... I bought a Panny DMR E55. I thought I could just replace my VCR with it... but I bought a HDTV and a Yamaha htr5760. My hdtv cable will be hooked up tomorrow. Question is.. How do I hook up (or can I) where I get my cable in HDTV video and audio to my receiver AND my DVD recorder? Do I hook it up to the receiver THEN send it s video to the reiceiver? If so, then I can only record what is being played and won't be able to program future recordings?... will I? Of if I route it through the DVD recorder then to the receiver, it doesn't have Component in (abviously) so don't I lose out?
HELP!
