Of late all of my playback sounds (Mp3) have started to stutter and slightly pause. This has only happended reasonly. All my drivers are upto date. I`m useing SBLive, with creative 5.1 speakers. All the tracks whether it is in Windows Media or from my download program seem to have been affected.

This will begin to happen when your PC fills up with a lot of Spyware crap

Getcher self Spybot S&D, update the definitions, and tidy up.
Do not fail to immunize your browser before you clean up the crap.
Spybot also provides an easy click to determine exactly what is in your registry's StartUp list.
Sometimes this info provides a nasty shock to many people...
