I have a problem with the sound of a divx 3 video file. The (car)movie has sound (music, engine noise etc) AND comments (some guy keeps talking about the car, etc.) but virtualdub keeps telling me that there is a problem with improper vbr audio encoding and that it (=vitualdub) will reencode the audio to cbr. i have had this problem with several files before, and i always fixed it by extracting the audio to *.wav format and converting it to cbr and finally using virtualdub to join the *.wav file and the movie together again, but this time it won't work. virtualdub only detects ONE audio stream (the one with the car noises,music etc.) and doesn't seem to recognize the second one (the one with the comments). if i play back the movie in virtualdub (vd) or extract the audio to wave format using vd, i get only the one audio stream and not the second one, if i play back the movie in windows media player i get both audio streams but video/audio get out of sync after a while. divx player 2.0 won't play the sound correctly at all. Can anyone tell me how to extract the audio to wav or mp3 format with BOTH streams included? How do i get VD to recognize both streams and not only the one with the engine noise, music etc?
