mpeg too big for vcd-- how to put it on a dvd

i have an mpeg file that is too large to fit on a cd... is there a way i can make a V-DVD? that is... a dvd with a video burned on it.

Hi,

It's possible to put MPEGs on a DVD and make them work in a standard DVD player by first using TMPGEnc to do the conversion and then TMPGEnc DVD Author to add a menu and put the files into the proper DVD format :)
