K7VTA3 mobo - Monitor Problem

I purchased a new mobo from Frys. Its a K7VTA3 v6.0 with Athlon XP 2700 processor. I have a 300w atx power supply and an 4x AGP video card, which I've been using with my old motherboard. Its a Radeon all-in-one card (dont know the model number) which I got 2-3 years back. Anyway I connected all my pieces to the new mobo and switched it on & i dont see any display in the monitor. There is no onboard graphics in this mobo and the only way I can see a display is using the video card.. I read in some forums to try out a PCI video card and so went to circuit city and got a XTASY 128mb PCI video card. I plugged it in and the result is the same. I tried all the PCI slots and it didnt matter.. Thinking that it could be a power problem, I unplugged the dvd writer/dvd rom etc and kept only the hard drive connected.. That didnt help either.. I put back my old motherboard and connected everything and both the video cards (AGP as well as PCI) seem to work. I guess I'm doing something wrong here... Can someone help me out.. Should i do something with the clearing CMOS or setting the jumpers for 100/133/166 mhz?? I cant change the bios config without being able to see anything in the monitor.. Any suggestions is highly appreciated..
