I am very new at this. I have been collecting instructional videos on the art of magic for over 10 years and would like to be able to transfer all of my VHS tapes to either DVD or VCD. I'm not sure I even understand the difference between the two. However, if the difference involves being able to point, click and go to a specified area on the media then that would be very helpful to me.

I am using videowave4 to capture into my ATI all in wonder card. Can I produce a DVD or VCD from the same program or do I need to use the program like virtualdub to do that? I would also appreciate it if someone could help me configure my capture template.

I know this is has been talked to death, but I really haven't seen them much with regards to videowave. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I've got a gateway desktop with a 1.6 mghz Pentium for chip and 60 GB hard drive. I don't think I should have that much trouble.

Thank you also very much,

Dov Feder
