I am trying to find out how to burn movies bigger than 4.3 gigs. Less than that I have no problem with, Dvdencrypter good for that. Over that you have to rip in IFO to rip by chapter using Dvdencrypter or Smtripper or Flask to separate the movie. All I've read is to compress it or burn it so it only plays with Powerdvd from the dvd-rw drive(data disc). Is there a way to keep the original size and change the IFO's that are ripped in that format so you can choose chapters to rip to ISO so they can be burned? You can't separate the file when you rip in ISO format. Or is there a program that you can rip by chapter in ISO format? Just one more thing, is there a program that can convert the mpeg format to VOB in ISO format to burn stuff downloaded from Kazaa? I also have to say that when I try to open the file with sonic mydvd authoring tool it says improper iso file and cannot open. I hope someone responds who can help me.

wassup buddy..

the best way and easiest way, is to use ifoeditor.

i would rip only the movie files with dvddecrypter to your harddrive (along with the video_vts.ifo file).
then use ifoeditor to strip the streams (such as the fbi warning, extra languages and subtitles, and also camera angles) and sometimes that will let you squeeze a dvd-9 onto a DVD+R/-R disc.
the best ifo editing guide i've found is on www.doom9.org (go to guides, dvd/mindv guide, ifo editor - basic guide)

if it doesn't fit after doing this you will need to transcode the movie and then remux it back (this is a little more complicated, but the guide will explain all of this)

send me an email if you have questions/problems
peace
