Help using vobs NeroVision 2 and making menus

Hi.
I used DVD Shrink to copy a movie(uncompressed--only little over 3 GB) to my hard drive. No prob, done that thousands of times.
I wanted to remove the DVD-Recorder menu and make my own menu for the movie that is why I did above.
So, I had just the movie, no menu, just the usual ifo and vobs etc.
I used NeroVision to add the vobs and made a nice menu and burned the DVD which took FOREVER!
So I play the movie back on my standalone DVD and the audio is out of sync!
My question and I have tried to locate the answer here first is:
What program can I use to create a new menu when I have the vobs and how? Without audio problems either.
