Converting files to .ISO form to be burnt to a DVD

I have GT4 Prologue PAL files on my desktop that I want to be converted to .ISO form so I can make a back-up of my game. Does anyone know how to do this or what I need to do to make this work? I have Nero 6 (burns cd and dvd) and I also have DVD Decrypter.

if you just have a bunch of files, good luck. you need to know exactly which order the files were in and the LBA of them.

You'll need access to a working image of the original disc in order to see the ordering of the files. Of coarse if you had that you'd probably just burn it instead.

Yeah they are actually pointless the files of a game.I was wondering if it is possible to see the order of the files using a program such as IsoBuster or either UltraISO though.They might be helpfull,but I am with sly_61019 and Icemonkey on this one.It is probably easier to just get the game and make a Iso file of it.The order of the files is extremely important.I think this is what makes the game actually,because some people use burning programs that throw the files all over the place and get them not to work.I am guessing on this,but I am sure it is true.

Well if I had the working disc I would just copy it but as I originaly said the disc got cracked and I can't use it (it is unreadable) I have the NTSC version of the game's ISO on my PC and I opened it with ISO Buster which showed me the correct order of the files.

We also used to see a lot of this with the Dreamcast. In order to make a Dreamcast backup bootable it was critical that the IP.BIN file be the first file on the disc. Just like a PC, the Dreamcast BIOS was only smart enough to read the 1st sector of the disc and if that sector didn't contain the boot file the system would just crash back to the browser.
