Hey

Just a quick question....

I am running Nero v6.3.20 and for some reason the ONLY option it allows mne to burn at is 4x with 4x media, however I would like to slow it down to 2.4x etc sometimes. Is there a setting I can change so I have the option to pick my burn speed?

Thanks

After you have opened a new compilation go to edit - properties then burn, you should see a box saying write speed you can change the write speed their.

I know there is a pull donw menu for write speed, thats what I am saying, it only has the 4x option in the pulldown, nothing below that or above that for that matter.

aut0psy, as you will see if you read the following review, the burn-speed is also dependent on the burner and media used. ;)

Yes...my burner is a 16x writer and the media is 4x. I can write no problem at4x but I want to lower it to 2.4x or so. This should not have anything to do with the media nor the burner speed as they would both support a "Lower" speed, correct?

Correct in theory, but not in practice.
Please read the review I posted a link to, it explains it in a much better way than I could. ;)
