Is the swap magic and fliptop as good as using HDAdvance? What is the difference? Please write back. Thanks

HDAdvance is better because it's easier to install, doesn't void the warranty and is easier to use, but to use HDAdvance you need to buy a hardrive (and a network adapter if you don't own one) and this is going to cost you more than the flip top. If you have the money then get the HDAdvance, but if you don't you can get the fliptop and then with the fliptop you can burn a cracked version of HDLoader to try it out.

you can download the cracked version of HDLoader at most torrent sites and swap magic is just the disk you use to boot your backups if you have a backup and certain modchips.

You can get them at http://www.suprnova.org but the site has been down for days now. That's where I got mine and that's the only site I know. But all I can say is, it's better to get HD Loader or HD Advance than a swap magic and fliptop.

Nope, swap magic is for you to play copy games without modding your ps2. Hd Loader/Advance works even without modding your ps2 but you need an hard drive. Hd Loader/Advance install games onto the hard drive then you would be able to play games without the cd except you need to put the hdloader cd in order to play games on the hard drive. O... and the loading time is really fast.

Dont you still have to have a fliptop w/swap magic to load a cracked version of either hdloader or hd advanced? If not then what is needed, I have seen the mc/elf exploit but it says I would still need a bootable swap disk, true or false, same with cogswap?
So If I have 2 unmodded ps2's how would I go about loading legit and backups on to my harddrive? One of my ps2 has the disk read error and can only read cd ps1 ps2 blue disk, the other is brand new refurbished. I already have the hardrive and network adapter and currently have the top off of the ps2 with the DRE. Is there a way to load hdloader via hdhandiness to it through my pc and load games that way with out the ps2 trying to verify the game data. So I guess I am asking the best way to load games to my hard drive with out wasting alot of money and still be able to play. Thanks to all in advance.

The official HDLoader/HDAdvanced disks are pressed so you don't need any chips/swap magic to load it, it works in all ps2's.
The cracked version that you can make yourself is not pressed so you need some way to boot CD's ie: mod chip, flip top.
Your best bet, if you already have a HD is to buy the HDLoader.

If your short on cash get a Flip Top and Swap Magic, its pretty easy to use overall and works great, if you have the Mondy get HD Loader, the games will play alot faster off the Hard Drive and you won't have to buy a whole bunch of DVD-r wich can run you up a high bill. so aprroxiamatley how much will it cost to get the whole HD Loader equipment and gear (which will include HardDrive) and are you more likeley to damage youre PS2 using a slide-card or Fliptop

..Wait and could you also tell me wether it is possible to play abroad games on a HDloader and wether the hard drive is just a regular PC Hardrive
