Ok, i just got swap disk and i have version 9 of ps2.
Problem is, i can find where the screw is that i have to remove in order to install the ps2. Is it the screw behind the ps logo? If is, any trick to getting it out?
also, i did search this forum and i couldnt find any info on it.
Yeah you need a really small screw driver to remove the screw..there is a spring behind the screw so you can push it in a little bit but not to far or it wont turn. Carefully when removing the cover so you dont break the clips on the ends...good luck
yeah be carefull, those end clips break very easily. Mine broke off, so now the cover just kinda sits on there.
Incase anyone wants to avoid spending the money for the slide card. I made my own, and it works perfectly. The trick isnt the card at all, its just knowing how the ps2 door operates. I used an old credit card with some cuts in it, and wha-la. For the Swap Magic, just download a copy. Save yahself about 30-40 bucks I believe.
