Nero Finalize DVD?

Just wondering if everyone ticks the "Finalize DVD" check box or leave it UNTICKED?

Data or Video?

If you're referring to video then you definitely need to finalize the disc otherwise it won't play :)

Video I am referring to however I have never checked that before last night and they all play fine.

Explain that one? :)

The dvd will play fine in your PC, but have you tried playing it in a standalone player, it wont work unless you finalize it : )

Yes, I actually have never played a DVD in my PC. Its always run in my standalone and they all work fine and I have NEVER checked that box. So I dont know if it forces it to finalize possibly?

What Nero program are you using to create the DVD?

NeroVision Express 2 and Nero Recode do finalize the disc without your needing to check the option.

Only in Nero Burning ROM/Nero Express do you need to select the option.
