i want to but a mod chip ,but i dont which one is best for my ps2 ,i have a ver. 9,I also later on want to play online ,i think some of the online games detect when a mod chip is being used !! I also use alot of dvd - mexell disc,i want a chip that will play all vcd,svcd ,and other types of disc ???

i doubt ps2s can play VCD SVCD or xvid or whatever only dvd and dvd backups that i know of

PS2 can only play dvd but the the best chip for a version 9 is matrix infinity and is also better than DMS3 i can say it becuase i have try them.
