Hi,

Having recently been bombarded with viruses from kazzaa i am hesitant to reinstall the programme even though i now have Norton Anti-Virus Firewall and many other virus programmes running. Would anyone be able to advise me to what software i could get either free or paid for which will enable me to download music etc but without the viruses? ANY help would be greatfully appreciated. thanks

One program i use is Shareaza. This has no pop ups and i have found this a very good alternative to Kazaa.

If you want to download legally, I would recommend using RealPlayer or iTunes. It costs 99 cents a song. However, if you want to download illegally, I use LimeWire Basic v4.0.8. It is a very good program. You can find it here:

The new Morpheus is supposed to work the Big 3 D/L networks all at once.
It works. Saves having to choose which one to setup for.
It installs some harmless spyware (searchbar etc) but easy to remove from Windows Add/Remove Programs and Morpheus will still work fine :-)
SpyBot S&D will tidy up any 'loose ends' nicely, and there you go.
Hey downloading is Legal-as-can-be here in Canada...
(It is prodigious uploading that will get you 'noticed')

I use WinMX...I used to have Kazaa, but there were too many pop-ups and it got irritating...WinMX works really really well.
