When palying back any of my Mp3 sound or Wav files all i get is like it is sticking, tried different things out thinking it was spyware etc.

Done all the checks and this is effecting all music playing programs.

I was wondering if my sound card is becoming the problem, can they back down. It`s about 2 years old and it`s a Creative live 5.1, done all of the latest updates etc but to no avail.

need for some more input.
