Hi, I just got my DVR 108 and found that the firmware is 1.06. I tried to upgrade to the 1.10 but it gives me the message that an error has occured during the upgrade and now has been terminated. What do I do?

My setup is on a Win XP notebook with a Firewire 400 external case which I removed my old Sony CDR burning and replaced with the Pioneer unit. So far it will read the disc with DVD shrink but when I try to rip it, it stops at 1min 1 sec and says "copyright protection" and "I/O error" and it terminates. I believe this to be related to the firmware issue, but I can't upgrade my firmware.

Any input is appreciated.
