Running linux on hardware modded xbox, dual boot

I have a modded xbox that works great, but I would also like to run linux on it, so I could boot from evox, or linux. I heard that this was possible, and have loaded linux (gentooxx) on the E:\ partition of my box. I cannot seem to get linux to load from the evox menu though. Maybe I am not modifying my evox.ini file properly. I would appreciate any helps or tips.
