both of my ps2 memory cards have corrupted data on it,
my old one & my new one, how can i delete the data?
or format the memory cards

my mem card used to have corrupt data but i just normally erased it and it works fine

u should be able to delete it... did u go to browser mode and browse the memory card and delete the file?

The same thing is happening to me. My sony memory card is fine but I have a Mega memory Card that has all corrupted data on it. I can't copy anything or delete anything.

No i just had normal saved games on it. Then when I got my DMS3 modchip installed I got all corrupt data. I think it might be from the chip.

WOOYEAH
it actually worked
now i ahve my full 8mb back
before, i lsot 2 mb cos of a BADly insatlled exploit
so now i can install teh exploit properly and still ahev the extra 2mb back
although, i lsot 2kb through formatting, HAHAH
oh well, 2kb is better than 2mb

I used this but it says formatting falied. All the corrupted data is gone. I can't copy games to it though. When I view from the browser it it says memory card is not formatted would you like to format it. I press yes and it says formatting failed.

Hey nathan89 and Ninjaboy you could always try out the keylauncher V0.2 already compiled disc which has the mcformat program on it.You can get it here http://www.siirlabs.com/ps2dev/kl/release/ps2-keylauncher-0.2+-image_USA.rar it has a .bin and .cue file in the rar file.All you should have to do is extract the .bin and .cue file and burn the .cue file and it should be able to work.This exploit boots off the Breaker Pro disc,but you can get a title.db or make your own and recompile it to get it to work.I made a guide on here right here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/109289 hope it helps you two out.The exploit works perfect for me and they have a new release out wich is the V0.4 keylauncher exploit.You can make the apps run off the harddrive as well as the memory card which is cool I thought.
