Cyberlink Power DVD default Kazaa audio HELP

I was screwing with Power DVD and now the audio from My shared files, ie. Kazaa, can't be heard unless Power DVD is active. What did I do and how can I get Power DVD from being the Default audio prog? (if that's what it's trying to be?)

Right click one of your music file -- select OPEN With --> Choose program . Select the program you wish to use to open those files.

I found that somehow or other the wave volume had gotten muted. I will remember your fix in the future.
