Swap Magic CD problems?

I was in the process of buying a fliptop+swag magic disc's from gocbyer.ca before I stumbled upon a number of threads where people have been complaining about not being able to boot backup cd's. While this shouldn't be a problem since most of my games are dvd's anwyays, I was planning on using the sm discs to load the cracked hdloader version for my hdd. Will I have the same problems as others with using the sm cd to load the cracked hdloader version? I have a v4 ps2 btw. Thanks.

I havent heard of anyone having good luck with the sm cd..dont know why.

Only people with V9 or V10 have problems with booting the SM 3.2 cds. I have a v9, and it boots the cd loader maby 1 in every 20 times.....which pisses me off. Since you have V4, you sould be fine.
