I have a generic DVD player.It will play The Grinch using interactual player.It will not see any other DVD's i have tried in it.
AMD 3000+ on a PC Chips mobo.
512 ram with built in S3 prosavage DDR video.
The drive worked fine in old comp that had an ATI 32meg DDR All in Wonder.

Oh yeah, it shows up as ATAPI DVD on device manager
