Can I hook up a standalone DVD player to my PC sound system?

Hello,

I am in desperate need of some help!
I have just bought a standalone DVD player and would like to connect it to the Surround Sound that my PC is connected to....is there a way I can do this?

Basically I want to share the speaker set-up with my TV/DVD and my PC withoutkeep on swapping the wires around!

Is this possible??????

If not, then can I connect the DVD player to my amp on my Hi-FI??? If yes, is there any special leads etc that I will need?
