I'm trying to boot review code of Gradius V (JAP) but the disc is damaged. I've backed up, reburned the disc and managed to load it, but all I get is a white PlayStation logo and sound, then it freezes. I burned it with Nero 5.5.10.35 onto a CD and am running it on a NTSC test PS2 - no restictions on retail or beta/R code.

Any ideas why it isn't loading?

Hi Hugodrax!

Here is a method to get ur gradius 5 backup working:

1. Open the GRADIUS .bin with isobuster or winsiso then extract all folders and files.

2. Lauch Discjuggler (i used 4.1) then choose new project and copy (drag & drop) the .bin extracted files & folders into discjuggler windows.

3. Let the predetermined settings (mode 2 cd-xa, 4x)and burn!

4.Once the cd has been burnt, put it in ur ps2 disc tray and enjoy! It wont freeze anymore ;)
