I just bought an xbit modchip and a 250 gb maxtor harddrive and i just read the most recent forum thread about someone else's very similar situation...but at times it seemed like they were speaking a foreign language. First off i dont know what FTP is (im an uber newbie) and i also read in another thread that an xbit chip cant be flashed using a cd it must be flashed using the usb cable (i think it was scotsmen who said that) and does that also apply to loading a dash onto the xbox? Do i also need to format my HD in any way, because someone sent me a file to burn to cd that would format the hd but when i put the disk in the xbox i would get error #s 13 and 14. I also read that the green LED on the external board means that the chip is in stealth mode and is therefor disabled, but how do i enable it? this is all so confusing....if someone would be sooooooooo kind as to help me i would be infinitely grateful, oh and sorry bout the lengthy post and the large number of ?s.
