Sup everyone. First of all, I'm a newbie with this HDAdvance and HD Loader thingy. I recently went crazy trying to download HDAdvance/Loader off BitTorrent sites and stuff like that. Well, I finally manage to download the program. I was so excited I burn a copy to a CD-R disc right away and then nserted into the PS2, but then PS2 said it can't read the type of disc. Tried burning the file onto a DVD+R disc, the PS2 said the same thing. Please help me and tell me what I am doing wrong. By the way, I am using a Maxtor 60GB HD with a Network Adaptor.

Another thing, what is the Memory Card Exploit? I've read some of the post in this forum which states that you could boot up the HD inside the PS2 or HD Advance/Loader using the memory card????. I'm confuse on this one, too. Can any one help answer this question also. I can't even imagine how it would be possible to put some sort of program inside your PS2 memory card? Is there a way to connect the PS2 Memory card to the PC or something and dump the file into it??? and if that's the case, you wouldn't need HD Advance/Loader CD to boot from, right?? *confuse* I would greatly appreciate it if someone would send me links or info on how to figure this out. Please help!

Thanks in advance!

First of all, do you have a modchip? If so, it should work. Without modchip, the ps2 won't read the disc you burned.

The memory card exploit is something you can boot up from (i think) without modchip. And yes, there is a way to put programs onto the memory cards. Do some researching.

-PS2v3|Unmodded|
-Xbox v1.1|Xecuter3|XBMC|300 GB Maxtor HDD|Clear blue ghost case| X3 Front Panel |
-Gamecube| Unmodded
-Xbox360 | Unmodded

No, i don't have a modded PS2. Now you said that there's a way to put these program onto the memory card, though I read somewhere that you need to burn some data onto a CD-R and have it boot with like a PSX disc or something like that. ?? *shrug* Isn't there a way to connect your PS2 memory card to the PC and load the HD Advance/Loader data onto the memory card and then use it to boot the PS2 hard drive????

If anybody else have some ideas or info, please help. Thanks!

ya after you buy the memory card adapter for the PC, it will be more money than what a real HDLOADER sells for (we sell them only 29.50) including slidecard tool and dual dvd case.

without a mod, its kinda useless really.

you use a ps1 game to trigger the memory card exploit. But to put it on your memory card you need a boot disc like swap magic or gameshark.

V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero
