For the games that have troubles, is their a way to fix the problems.

Also for Burnout 3 - it says

Burnout 3: Takedown USA NTSC 3 2.66 Mode 3

What is mode 3?

when using the hdloader, if the burnout3 is installed onto the hdd, chose burnout3, press "Select" and from there, you can choose MODE1, MODE2, and MODE3 to make the game work. As you can see, the burnout need only MODE3 to make the game work.
