I have downloaded and installed the trial version of WinDVD Creator 2.0B014.214C00 on my Toshiba laptop.

Having created a simple two scene project using one AVI and one MPEG file, I play the project inside WinDVD Creator. At the end of the first clip there is no transition to the second clip. The marker freezes at the transition point and the 1st clip starts replaying.

I then install the OEM version that came with the laptop and using the same files, play the project from end to end including transitions - no problems at all.

I have tried the same trial version on an IBM PC, HPD530 (qwhere I want to run WinDVD creator from )with the same results.

All PC's are WinXP SP2 with latest drivers updates etc installed.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem and has anyone overcome it and how?

Does anyone know where I can get an earlier trial version of WinDVD Creator to test?
