My computer has a 2.6Ghz HT pentium 4 processor, 2x256mb RAM (Dual Channel), 160gb HDD, 64mb video card and an 8xDVD burner.
I have $400 to spend on upgrades what would you spend it on and why.

I would get some new ram 1gb ddr if your
motherboard can support that much with your
2x256mb aswell.

Get a better graphics card like the radeon 9600pro/xt.

Your cpu is good but you could get a faster one
if you wish but then you may go over budget.

That is all that you need really, ram is the best thing to get for your pc so definetly get more of that fi your mobo can have that much ram.

A 9800Pro would probably be within your budget and is a very nice card especially for the prices they're getting for them these days :)
