I've been thinking about getting the newer PSO games (3 and plus) to work the same as the original. from what ive gathered, the newer games don't allow you to set a static IP, thus skirting the 'problem' that allows you to point to your own server. therefore, the game must be hardcoded to use DHCP. what if we were to either alter our dhcp info or set up a standalone dhcp server that hands out the setting we need? granted, this isnt the easiest of tasks, and i think many routers will not allow you to change the gateway address. if you have a small linux box, this is readily (if not exactly easily) accomplished. if i were to set up my own dhcp server, and told it to give out settings that point to my PC running Phoenix or PSOLoader, wouldnt that work? I'll have to get a copy of the new PSO 1&2 Plus and start hackin away at it....

END OF LINE.
