If have had swap magic for about 8 months now. I keep wondering about putting a chip in my ps2 to avoid the swapping since its getting to be a hassle. What i want to know is what is the easiest modchip to solder into your ps2 and works very well? I have never soldered a mod into any ps2 but i am hoping to learn. Also is there anyway to practise for this so that i don't mess up my ps2? Also when i look at the instructional pictures of putting a modchip into the ps2 it looks very confusing. It is really this confusing or i will understand it better when i finally open my ps2 up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

just save the hassle and get it installed for 45 bucks at http://www.norcalmods.com you pretty much break even after buying an iron, wire, etc etc.

Isn't the DMS3 supposed to be one of the better chips?

I've got a guy that is going to install it for me.

yeah they are one of the best chips along with the matrix infinity. it is just very tough to install them for the first time because everything has to be perfect in order for them to work correctly were as an easier chip such as the Duo 2 doesnt have to be so perfect. if your getting it installed, you dont have any thing to worry about.
