Well....I hope I posted in the right place...but here goes.

My _NEC DVD_RW ND-1300A can read cd's and dvd's with data on them....but if I put in something that has no data (i.e. a blank cd) it doesn't read it at all. I've been trying to make a few copies of things and it just keeps telling me that there's no cd inside the drive. I already flashed the firmware up to 1.0B (the latest firmware). Running on windows xp proffessional.
