Fist off you will have to forgive my spelling.(I'm only 14)
(Also this guide is for kazaa)
The 3 main topics
1.How to not get sued by the Riaa
2.How to download the real songs
3.Where to get the real kazaa
1.HOW NOT TO GET SUED BY THE RIAA
A.Go to kazaa options click on the tab named "Advanced" and check "Do not funtion as a supernode".
B.Also unclick "Extra upload bandwidth when computer is idle".
C.Then click on the tab named "My kazaa" and for country put some country like Turkey or some thing.
D.Then click on the tab "k++ options" and check "users can't get a list of shared files.
E. Last click on the tab named "traffic" and check "disable sharing".(This kills me but i'm not going to lie to you the Riaa aren't sueing downloaders they are sueing sharers)
2.HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE REAL SONGS
(There is a company out that have sharing fake songs heres how to not get there songs)
A. Downlaod mp3sheild
B.When you search for a song look at the user or users sharing it. If they some numbers in there name there most likly fakers. (i.e. coolguy123)
C.Look at the length of the song. Here is what I do,go to a site that has 88 cent downloads(don't want to get anyone in trouble) search for the album that the song is on,then click on " Go to downloads for this album" and there the you will see how long the song is then on kazaa look the results for your search. The REAL song will have the right lenght.
3.WHERE TO GET THE REAL KAZAA.

You have forgotten to add that you can use 'peerguardian', this is a p2p firewall where it has all the addresses stored from record companies, RIAA, developers et all. Also, you should also regularly scan your computer for spy ware using a program like spybot search and destroy or something similar, spyware and cookie trackers = bad.

Actually the best programs for scanning your computer arent freeware...
BPS Spyware Adware Remover
Pestpatrol
AdAware Pro
And Protowall Is better then peerguardian.
plus, it doesent have all the ip addresses, just the ones we know about - im sure theres plenty we dont have...

Ok.. so if everybody followed Step E... and disabled sharing, what would be the point of Kazaa ?
Nobody would be sharing files, therefore nobody would be able to download :S
Kazaa is not really the best P2P program to use, but there has been many debates already on aD, so im not going to go any further with which is the best... but imo Ares is alot better.
Just remember, if you disable sharing, P2P wont exist.

If you are using Kazaa I like this site http://www.kdp.2ya.com it has all the latest releases and it has all the lates codec packs.It also has the Resurrection series and it has the adware and spyware remover for the programs.

there almost a like but Kazaa Lite Resurrection has a little more all the apps are updated. i would just download Kazaa Lite Resurrection.

If your gonna stick with Kazaa, use the Kazaa Lite K++ version. Thats the best of Kazaa IMO

Is the RIAA issuing subpoenas for just songs or are they doing videos too?Im just curious.And does anyone know how the process works?Do they send a cease and desist notice first or what?I dont even use p2p networks,I just want to be more knowledgable about it.

1.RIAA isnt sueing for movies. I heard some where that a group is(i forgot there name i think it was some studios ).
2.Also The RIAA will send you letter saying "give us 4gs or we will bring you to court(and you will lose).
What they should do is if they catch you
make 1-3 dollars per song that you downloaded and make you never use p2p again or we will sue you.
This no warning shit is just tring to scare you and me

does the RIAA have powers outside the usa? or can they go after anyone? or do they pass the case to a european body?
