were u jus tlkin to me? coz tht dnt make sense to me!
wt happens after the title screen immediatly after completing the game if u want to carry on with same save and go back through the levels to get all da stuff?

im very slow so please help as much as possible.

u cnt continue with that but if u start a new as sub-zero all the stuff u have collected wnt be in the game as u already have it n u can collect what u missed that way.
there may be a few new thinks on the way too.

do i have to start as subzero? i did it with kung lao but i getting worried coz none of da portals are open in the portal room.(i take it this means i have to do the story line over agen. tht fair enough but where's all my stuff from the previous game with lu kang?!!!)

so u only get one chance to do the game and then after the boss fight u start agen? please explain as detyailed step by step thing from after u complete the game. thanks a lot.

this game is quite confusing to me, sorry bout this people.

Im on the 3rd smoke mission where i'm supposed to knock 3 tarkata into spiked area. Is that the area which has a fireplace background?
I'm trying to throw them there but they just bounce off the walls. Sometimes they land in the flames but sofar zilch.

Any specific combo/tactic to get them that high and push them in?

Hello dalkiel,

This is the area you get to through the soul tombs. After you enter the soul tombs another door opens besides the one where u met Baraka, the door with the green and the door with the red symbol. This new door has a skull on top of it. Enter this area and you will come into the torture room. Here you will see small openings in the walls nearly a floor up. You have to throw the tarkatas into these openings, as soon as one lands, a cage will trap them and some sort of trap will kill them. Do this on all the openings and you will have cleared smoke's quest 3. Hope this was helpful. PS: you have to air throw the enemies into the openings.

Aliasad - Thanks for the hints. I finished the smoke missions and unlocked MK2. Played the first round and lost badly. Good fun
One question - where can I find all the movie icons? I currently have the beginning and end sequences and the kang/lao sparring scene. Any idea where the others are at?

Here's a puzzle i found by sheer accident FIGHT MILEENA

In the first area of the Living Forest, use the swing ability on the two big branches that can be found above you as you head for the save structure. Swing over to higher ground, then climb up the ladder. You will be in a new area. Head to the other end of this treetop area to fight...Mileena!

dalkiel - thanks :) u know, i had the same problem with MKII, i lost the first fight and it was against Baraka and he kicked my ass! I dont remember losing so easily when i originally played MKII a loooooooooooooooong time ago on my Sega Mega Drive II...anyways, i havnt found all movies...i just found 3 or 4...but i saw a secrets FAQ somewhere on the web...ill look for it and give u the link :) and thanks for the tip for mileena...

I've done the smoke missions, and before that, I tried the MKII code, but I couldn't find anywhere to play the MKII arcade. I checked Kontent and every single menu option. BTW, I have the Asia/Pacific PAL version.

Hey, i was playing the game and i died and when the "Game Over" screen came, it said 10,000,000 if you deafeat sdwarde luph. The name was something like that and i was wondering if anyone knows where he is or what it is, thanks

heezee - go back a few pages and you will find what you seek

over40kid - indeed, just block and use heavy attacks on Johnny Cage, oh and when Ermac brings out Cage, i suggest ignoring Ermac and concentrating on Cage. Took me two attempts to beat Cage and another 1 to beat Ermac.

Heezee - do what he says and check the last two pages. Look for posts with my name. I wrote a para of how to get swing/wasteland/deadpool.

FEET OF FURY:

bEATING SHAO KHAN AND KINTARO - This tactic worked for me when using kung lao. Simply jump high enough that your feet are close to his headand then press the square button and just keep kicking away. Conmbine this with a combo and keep repeating once you reach the ground. Jump-start kicking - jump again, etc. I beat kintaro within a very short time and racked up a impressive hit rate. When playing with kang I used the rolling attack but this is much faster and if you manage to keep continuing the kick cycle Kintaro has no way of countering you.

With Shao khan this tactic works to a lesser extent because his kick connects at least 50% of the time but with some timing it'll work well to reduce his life down to the first 50%. After that it's very tricky. I maanaged to keep balancing on his head while he was doing his wild swing but that was luck. I'm sure someone can improve on my technique. it sure beats running around and firing at him from various positions.

Kinda cheap but works so far

actually, its just a name spelled backwards :) and that was princess kitana...i.e. its hinting at the story mission in which you have to free kitana...most of these hints mean nothing :P some do...like the smoke missions etc...not sure about all of them :)

so we cant get the 10,000,000 exp points? and after i got the swing ability, i went to the living forest and to the tree village up top, and i fought mileena and she ran away with kitana into a portal, can i find them somewhere else?
