You just asked a few of the biggest questions in the ps2 threads so if you want more info you should just read the threads.

In simple though you can burn ps2 games with a dvd-burner and you can play them on your ps2 by installing a mod-chip or flip top on your ps2. For some mod methods you need a swap magic disk which is simply a program on a disk that you load on your ps2 and then swap the disk with your backup when it tells your to.

I really suggest reading other posts though.
