Record time on a DMR-E85H

I have a DMR-E85H Recorder and have noticed a possible
bug in its firmware. My recorder was manufactured in Mar 2004.

Try this simple test:

Set up a record time using the "VCR+" key on the remote. Set the record time for only 1 minute (I used a DVD-RAM" disk), and see how long the unit records for.

My recorder records for 2 minutes! (31 minutes for a 30 min program....and 61 minutes for a 60 min program...etc! This is unacceptable!

Even when using the "TV Guide Onscreen" programming the time is always 1 minute longer then it should be.

Please let me know what your results are and what your manufacturing date is. I am waiting for Panasonic to get back to me on this issue.
