Is there anyway I can load backups without buying anything. I have a usb thumb drive and I can probably make a slide card. I think my ps2 is version 7 or earlier. I don't have a dvd-r yet but might soon( I do have a cd-r drive

you can use one of the .max saves, but you still need to have the AR max software to load it to your mem card
