Hello experts.
I have a sony dru-700a dual layer burner, a sony gx3 dvd recorder (standalone) and a sony 730a dvd player.
My problem is with the -RW VR format on the GX3.
Disks formatted in this format allow on disk editing in the GX3.
However after finalising the disk in the GX3, the PC burner can't read the disk to do a copy.
However, Nero Vision Express software that comes bundled with the pc burner is able to import -VR disks.
However I just want to do a straight disk copy. Can anyone suggest anything? I have been waiting for Sony's elevated support to get back to me, they said three days, it has been 6. By the way, their tech support did assure me that -VR disks should be able to be read by the sony burner, which they can through the nero vision express authoring software.
