Okay, here's what i've tried.

I've tried installing the x-bit modchip via the pogo pins however I am having some difficulties in getting the x-box to boot with a flashed bios. If the chip is removed from the console the x-box boots fine, however with the chip in the console attempts to boot twice, and then the light on the front of the console flashes green and red.

I am currently trying with the evoxm7_ef.bin bios flashed to all of the 256k banks on switch selection 6; however I have tried other bios on other switch selections still to no avail. In some circumstances the x box even boots, but only to the regular xbox bios, and there doesn't really seem to be a particular pattern to it.

My xbox is version 1.1 and has a Philips DVD drive.

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciate. I've got to get this thing working!
