X800 pro problems.

Hey guys. I recently built a gaming pc for myself
SPECS:
Asus P4P800E-Deluxe(Mobo)
Ati Radeon X800 pro
Pentium 4 3.0 ghz 800 mhz fsb
512 mb pc3200

Ok now to the problem.. For some reason, i dont seem to be getting good framerate at all, for example. in Doom3 i have to run at about 1024 x 768 to get zero lagg.. In Planetside i try to run at 1600 x 1200, and when im in battle i get like 1-5 fps.. i get this on almost every game, from Far-Cry to Battlefield Vietnam..crappy fps all around..i dont know what i should do.. Maybe i have my card on the wrong settings?

if your wondering about the 2gb ram thing, thats changed. i had to put some in my other pc. :)
