I've had this DVD-RAM drive for over two years. It's been ok on and off but has recently stopped burning. I've seen a few similar threads but I found something interesting, my PC had the occasional XP 'windows has revovered from serious error' crashing. I've been rebuidling the machine and upgrading it for a long time so couldn't be sure what caused it. But as I bought a new DVD liteon burner a few months ago I noticed it works perfectly. Ive swopped the DVD burners around, and now my new machine has the 'serious error revovery' and the desktop display flicks on and off. So it must be linked to the Matshita drive - I have the A128 firmware for the LF D310.....not sure if I'm alaone on this one but thought it may be of help to someone.
