Cant read dvds on my Optorite DD0405

I just bought a Optorite DD0405 and i installed it fine and ran it wonderfuly burned many cdr cdrw dvd dvdrw both dvd - and dvd + with it. i had it for about 3 weeks so i thought mybe i should clean it so i bought a multi pupuse cd dvd laser cleaner it says it can clean every thing so i ran the cleaner though and now i cant read or write dvd media any kind it does read and write cdr and cdrw at same speed it did before i checked cables reinstalled my os but nothing i emailed the company but no email reply please help i hope i dont have to get another one i can not even send it back i trashed all the papers and box like a stupid idot
