This has been answered a few times already -- but again what you need is a Sound Editing Program !

Have a look at Audacity it is a free one :- http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

sorry i took sooooooooo long to answer..i've been using a program by the name of cool mp3 splitter 1.2
and it has helped me a lot thanks again for the point in the right direction Jeanc1
