Hi guys I am new copying x-box games, can some one tell me what a dash board is and how do i get one, and the other things i need to back-up my x-box games.

ok, a dashboard is the OS of the xbox, you know the green screen with the options MEMORY,MUSIC,SETTINGS thats the retail MS Dashboard. you can get new ones, such as evox and unleash. but you gotta find them.

in order to install new dashs, you need a mod chip and a way to connect your pc to your xbox (ftp)

once thats done, by burning a cd, you can load it up on the xbox and it installs everything you need. easy steps, but if u can find slayers auto-installer... a saviour to many newbies.

once u have a dsh installed, you can upgrade the HDD and you can store games on the HDD. or ftp games from your pc and it works either way.
