i fully modded my xbox, hdd and all evox and stuff, i had the orginal halo copied to my hdd, i've been playing it for almost 4 weeks straight and then suddenly it wont load from evox and my original halo dvd wont load either... help...

is it got to do with my modchip, mines actually aladdin advance and i dont know whats wrong...
backups and copied backups work perfectly... EXCEPT ANY ORIGINAL DVDs, i've tried NTSC/UC, PAL and NTSC/J....
NOTHING WORKS! YIKES!

clear your cache - x y and z files then try again.

clear my cache? what do u mean? ftp to xbox and delete?

im not quite sure what to do.

is this problem something to do with my modchip, maybe it might have been displaced or moved internally.. what u think, im quite worried about my modchip.

please help

He means FTP into the xbox and clear thos folders. You could try to reformat those partitions but I am not sure what that will do. But I have FTP into and clear those partitons my self with no problems.

heres what my x partition has

[sounds]
[system]
[temp]
alien.ka
atari.wmv
bot.ka
human.ka
jugg.ka
splash.ka

and one file on my y partition...

you sure it's alright clearing these two partitions. im totally new to this, sorry for these questions.

what are these files for?? junk?
need info about these. btw, can i use boXplorer to clear out X and Y... would it be a problem?

i cleared my X Y partitions...

i loaded evox and selected 'Play Game/Media from DVD ROM'
and then my Halo DVD wont load. it says LOADING... and then screen is black and nothing happens.

I then rebooted and ran some of my other games on the HDD and they are working smoothly, and also my backup dvd games...

how can this happen? someone out there... help me!

this is totally weird cause i played alot of original games (NTSC/J/US/PAL) a few days ago and now this problem came up!

Have you tried putting the dics in an then starting the xbox? It sounds like somethings wrong with your EVOX.
